The chair is a commodity that can be found in different variations in almost all of the world's
cultures.. At the same time, it is symbolic of a settled man - as opposed to the originally
nomadic population. Like many of the objects that make up a constant and almost unnoticed
surrounding of our everyday lives, the chair has become a standard.
In the "Leibstuhl" series, the chair acts as a supportive structure, carrying a flood of
cuts-outs of raw meat from the supermarket promotional leaflets and body parts from the fashion
and porn magazines that form the new surface of the chair.

Small, Medium and Large are the well-known standard dress sizes that have gained acceptance in
the global fashion houses.
However there is no doubt that they fit perfectly only a very small percentage of people. The
protagonists of the photo series
S, M and L illustrate this fact by modeling their own clothes selection - clothes are not worn,
but simply folded over the body
like in a paper doll cut-out set. While questioning the laboured perfect fit from the pages of
fashion magazines, the models
playfully celebrate their own imperfection.
