The "Archief" is a gallery in the disused archive of the old Dutch Foreign Ministry building in den Haag. The archive consists of a 11 meter high space with 4 galleries/balconies, accessed by a spiral staircase, containing shelves for the documents. The "Green Light" installation consisted of 100 light fittings, with green fluorescent tubes, placed on the shelves. 2 loudspeakers play the sound of a large restaurant with a periodic fly-by of a squadron of jet aircraft - very loud. |
