Im Mai 2002 bereiste Alien City als Performanceversion Russland. Anlass dazu war eine Einladung zum Festival ALTERMEDIUM.02, das vom "Theremin Center" in Moskau veranstaltet wurde.

Die 35-minütige Performanceversion wurde am 16. Mai im Kulturzentrum DOM in Moskau und am 21. Mai im grossen Konzertsaal des Mussorgski Ural Staats - Konservatoriums in Jekaterinburg aufgeführt.

alien productions spielten live vor einer Grossprojektion der virtuellen Stadtlandschaft, in die bereits Elemente dieser beiden russischen Grossstädte eingewoben waren.

In may 2002 Alien City travelled through Russia on the occasion of the festival ALTERMEDIUM.02, organised by the "Theremin Center", Moscow.

A performance-version (duration: 35 min.) was performed on may 16th in the cultural center DOM in Moscow and on may 21st in the large concert hall of the Moussorgsky Urals State Conservatory in Yekaterinburg.

This version used a large scale image projection of the virtual cityscape, into which elements of the two big Russian cities were woven beforehand, and a four channel sound distribution. alien productions performed live on stage.
