Bob, please display this near the area where my transmission for the ars project will be seen and heard.

Lately, I have been making auto-biographical performances using telecommunications. It seems a natural for my situation as an American who often lives in Europe.

The project that will be transmitted on Monday, September 27, is a 5 minutes videotext and audio-piece. The videotext is text from advertisements between the year of my birth, 1950, and 1982, taken from popular American magazines.

The audio traces the most extreme locations where I have lived: Amsterdam, Holland, to San Francisco, California.

Besides being transmitted by telephone and Slow Scan to Linz, the auto-biographical statement is being simultaneously broadcast on cable channel 35 in San Francisco.

Anyone wishing to comment on the project or those who would like further information, may contact me till December 23, at (...), San Francisco, California, USA.
