SEASCAPE

Seascape is based on 18 model ships made between October 1978 and March 1979. The models were made almost entirely from waste material (styrofoam scraps, paper, wire, wood etc.) left over from other projects or works. The models become increasingly sophisticated and, in a sense, document the process of learning to make better model ships.
Although the ships were never intended to be artworks they were elements in what became the "SEASCAPE" project.
